Currently operating as a bed and breakfast, this exquisitely private, custom built log and stone home is bordered by undeeded land, the Klinaklini River and spectacular mountain views. Two guest cabins come fully furnished; providing ample accommodation for up to 12 people in all buildings. A superb location for hunting, fishing and relaxing in your own secluded paradise. The house and cabins are currently on the grid, though originally this was a self sustaining off grid ranch. Solar power or a wind turbine are all you need to set yourself free! The Klinaklini River is teaming with dolly varden and rainbow trout! Located in a rural residential area, about 250km from a town of population 30,000. Even further from any large metropolitan city. Guest cabins, greenhouse, root cellar, wood shop, barn and tack facilities, training pen, availability of river irrigation and 28 acres of fenced pasture lands. There is even space and zoning for your own heli-pad!

Located in a rural residential area this property lends itself very well to the possibility of an "eco-tourism" operation with guest cabins, greenhouse, root cellar, wood shop, barn and tack facilities, training pen, availability of river irrigation and 28 acres of fenced pasture lands.

Rivers Edge is located at the end of it's own private road in the center of the Kleena Kleene community (pop. about 15). Kleena Kleene is bounded by the Klinaklini and McClinchy Rivers. Located along the Chilcotin Highway 20, 151 miles (242 km) west of Williams Lake and 14 miles (23 km) west of the community of Tatla Lake. Perkins Peak is the northernmost part of the Pantheon Range and is easily accessible by car nearly all the way to the peak at 9250 feet. The Cariboo-Chilcotin Region is the largest region in the Fraser Basin, occupying almost 80,000 sq km of spectacular countryside. The Chilcotin Plateau spreads west 300 km from the Fraser River to the Coast Mountains. Because it lies in the lee of the Coast Mountains that block the flow of moisture-laden Pacific air, the Chilcotin has a drier climate than the coast and experiences greater extremes of temperature, with ranges from the occasional -40°C in winter to more than 30°C in summer. From the time of the Gold Rush, the Chilcotin Plateau remained isolated from the rest of the province until European and other settlers began arriving in the early 1870s. Cattle ranching became the major economic activity in the region and today tourism and outdoor recreational opportunities play an increasingly important role in the economy.
