February 2012 Archives

I just found out the person buying my retreat has had some medical issues come up and can no longer fulfill her contract with me. I understand that and I need to move this retreat as I cannot pay two house payments a month. I do not want to loose this to the bank, so I will sell for payoff. It was recently appraised for $252,000 and the payoff is about $168,000.

It is a Honest Abe cabin kit I built in 1985 and remodeled in 2009. It is on 5 acres with a stocked pond and is surrounded by trees. The area is rural Southern Indiana, Brown County/Nashville area. This area is a sought after place by folks with money.

Beautiful 40 secluded acre farm. All fenced and crossed fenced. Plenty of water with high producing well. Several barns, farm home with 3 bed 2.5 bath, country style kitchen 2 separate family rooms and cozy wood heat. While walking the pasture you also have a gorgeous view of Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier. Perfect place to raise your animals and family! Or make into a private vacation retreat. You choose!

Asking $460,000.

I have and share our experiences in solar & wind power, spring development, growing seasons, and land topography in North Idaho, and have documented and detailed articles on these issues on our website. I'll help you to find which area suits you best, (climate, growing season etc) as there are substantial differences between areas here. If you like to fish, hunt, hike, or just enjoy the outdoors, what we have to offer is second to none. I am intimately familiar with North Idaho and her backwoods. We use 4 wheel drive trucks, snowmobiles, and ATV's get to and tour properties that are hard to access, expect an adventure if you call me, we'll have fun, and I'll show you the best defensible properties North Idaho has to offer, and tell you why. We work with a ton of Veterans, as I am a US Army Veteran myself. Every one of our listings has Full-Screen 360 degree panoramic photography, Plat Maps, Area Maps, Aerial mapping, and a ton more. 100-year old Cedars, two creeks, spring & gravity fed water to home, huge National Forest lands on (3) sides, access from County Road via Forest Service Permit through closed & gated road, 1440 SF home that needs work but is closed up & sound. (No leaks, new roof, good woodstove).

1/3 Mile from County Road, very private, 20-25 minutes to downtown Coeurd'alene, plenty of wildlife, good roads, Seller will finance with 50% down. This is an easy to get to property that no one knows is there, but it's not a million miles into the wilderness. Very private, very quiet, a lot for the money in North Idaho, as there aren't a lot like this at this price around here. Just an excellent getaway/bugout property. This is not beautiful from the outside, but is well worth looking at if you want a good survival spot.
