All Dressed Up with Nowhere To Go ?
This mountain parcel is a perfect retreat destination for someone now living in Phoenix or elsewhere in Arizona.
Because the desert state of Arizona doesn't have any real mountain ranges, combined with a serious lack of water and summer temperatures reaching well over 100°, the entire state is a poor choice for a long-term survival retreat. This hideout is nestled high in the Rocky Mountains of southwest Colorado (approximately 450 miles from Phoenix) and so a 6 hour bug out drive is required to reach the site. Having an established and well-stocked retreat ¼ day drive away is far better than being what is sometimes referred to as “all dressed up with nowhere to go” (i.e., you and your family trapped in a large city with all your precious survival gear and food and a million zombies trying to freeboot it).
