5k down $350 month. May trade for down payment.
This place is very cool because it's hidden so well. If you don't know what you are looking for, you could pass the dirt "road" by many times before even noticing it. The "road" looks like an overgrown driveway that probably doesn't lead to much of anything. Yet the dirt "road" is still close to a main road which leads give all the conveniences of the stores and lake amenities. I had a buyer who apparently left the door wide open for many months, and it doesn't appear anything was ever taken. Crazy right? If a person doesn't know about the cabin they probably won't go back there.
For Trade or rent to own, I'm open minded. Will trade up or down, I can add some cash if needed.
This is a fun unique retreat or an off grid bug out location. Where else will you buy a wet weather waterfall near the lake?
A reposession, back on the market!
COMPLETELY OFF GRID 12-by-16 foot primitive cabin or art studio or possibly heated hunting blind with no modern amenities on 6 acres. WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THE WET WEATHER WATERFALL?
I have a video that the previous owner made- I uploaded it to youtube… However there is a bit of a catch- The person who made this edited video probably made this video for family or friends… The video tends to center around his dogs- and he continuously talks about his dogs… You have to bear with that, and pay attention to the background (also the grassy park the dogs run around in at the end of the video are not part of the property)
If you seek privacy, relative isolation yet also want to be close to all you might need this is your place. About a half mile to nearest "general store" 1.5 miles to public boat launch on Lake Pomme De Terre, Missouri's original muskie lake. Approximately 30 miles to Truman Lake, Stockton Lake and Lake of the Ozarks. 35 miles to Bennett Spring State Park. Located just west of Galmey, MO, south of Hwy 254. 8 miles to Wheatland or Hermitage, 25 or so to Bolivar, Buffalo or Warsaw, 60 to Springfield. The cabin is near public land for deer and turkey hunting. The cabin overlooks a small wet weather creek and waterfall.
900 feet of primitive road, water hauled in (or set collect and filter roof water.)
Property comes with used generator, used chainsaw without gas cap, new propane camping stove (bring your own propane), first aid kit, ladder, 55 gallon food grade water barrel, an old barrel stove, some chairs, a table, an inverter (you need a marine grade battery to set up a battery bank for simple items), and a few other odd and ends. Very rough land covered with cedars, oak and other trees.
This property was built by an old Corpsman, he had artistic tastes which is why he put so many windows in this elevated cabin. The cabin is not the Hilton, but it is effective shelter or a fun retreat.
When the deer in the pic was taken, the hunter had barely been in the even cabin 30 minutes before this deer came along on the trail about 50 yards away.
