1650 sf home — offgrid — on twenty acres.
WHEN TIMES ARE GOOD, this home can be the center of your playtime gatherings. It is fifteen minute from Bryce Canyon and is the middle of the Utah national parks. Its driveway turns into 4-wheel drive trails (and snowmobile, of course). Fishing and mountain biking are just quick jaunts away. Tetherball, horseshoes, and trees to hang hammocks provide fun and relaxation. A seasonal creek adds even more fun. The view from the wrap-around porch, the sunsets, and the night sky are maybe the best of all.
WHEN TIMES ARE TOUGH, this is the place to be. Completely off grid, this home relies on solar panels and new Simpliphi LFP batteries for main power, with wind backup. A propane generator provides backup to the back up. Water rights are included. Well water tastes great and comes from 350 feet down. Heat is provided by propane furnace with a wood burning stove as back up or per preference. Next to the house sits a garage of approx 2000 sf to house your toys and equipment, with train-car sized storage container buried underneath. Cell phones do work and internet is available.
1650 sf house, 3br, 2 bath. Great kitchen and open area for gathering.
Bordering the Dixie National Forest, the home is fifteen minutes north of Bryce Canyon's shuttle. The home Location will be provided for serious inquiries only.
If privacy is what you desire: "Oh, I never noticed that place was there," we have heard from those who travel nearby. The home is off the paved and plowed John's Valley Road; it is then a half mile on well maintained gravel and a couple hundred yards on dirt.
If bringing in an income is more your style, we have the county's permission to use as vacation rental and have bookings through the summer you may be able to switch over to you.
Again, plenty of water is included to run the home and conform to govt guidelines. A garden area is currently overgrown but is fenced from wildlife and has water immediately at hand. Fun, safety, privacy, retirement — this home has it all.
